This was a project to hang a TV on a railing in a bedroom. The stand was designed to allow the TV to hang from a ceiling and be moved so it could be up against a wall or at the foot of the bed. This was designed in Solidworks, then manufactured by me. I had the main X bracket water cut by a local company who I sent CAD drawings to. This project consisted of aluminum and stainless steel parts, as well as hardware ordered from Mcmaster-Carr. The largest and most visible parts were then powder coated black.
I wanted to provide a modern look to my dining area, so I installed the good looking retro TV furniture after consulting my family members. We like watching TV while having evening tea and dinner.
